I stayed in the west cork hotel as I was celebrating my babies christening in the hotel. Ann Marie was fantastic helping me book the food and function rooms and was so accommodating with my ever changing numbers! Everything worked out so well, the food was gorgeous and the staff were so efficient and friendly! I always love eating in the west cork as it never disappoints but this was my first function there and would highly recommend it. Our bedroom was very clean and cozy too and breakfast was gorgeous! Big thank you to all the wonderful west cork staff for making my babies christening so special.

We had a room overlooking the river. The room was very spacious and the king sized bed was comfy. Being small we were a little lost in such a big bed! The bathroom was large, shower was geeat and did not have to wait long after turning tap on for the hot water to appear. The service at bar, restaurant and at breakfast was exceptional. The food was well presented, good portions and delicious. Being from Australia everything in the EU is on the expensive side for us with the exchange rate, but we thought the food and drink prices were exceptionally good value. So much so that we dinned in for the three nights we lodged at the hotel. All the staff at reception were also very cheerful and helpfull. This has been one of our best stays so far on our 3.5 week tour around Ireland. Good location for a base to explore the south of Ireland. Thank you all for a great stay. Gordon and Annette.
